I think there is some kind of bug? I run the game and can see the cutscene text, but I don't see anything else. Once the game starts, it looks like this
Yeah, totally! I was on my linux laptop at the time which is why I was on the web build. I should be able to get on my windows machine tonight so I can give a proper review
Just played it on the Windows build and it ran totally fine. I was initially a little frustrated that the puzzles were so easy to soft lock if you move a square into the wrong space, but I later found it actually made me think really carefully about my movements. Once I got more branches, it also wasn't as frustrating since I could just go to another door. Overall fun game! I found it addictive to get the upgrades and see how fast I could move through the map. I liked your 1-bit palette and the atmosphere as well!
